Restorative practice seeks to repair relationships
Restorative practice is a strategy that seeks to repair relationships that have been damaged, including those damaged through bullying. It does this by bringing about a sense of remorse and restorative action on the part of the offender and forgiveness by the victim.
Restorative Practice Questions:
What happened? What were you thinking? What are you thinking now? Who has been hurt or is sad because of what you have done? What do you need to do to make things right? What will you do differently next time? High Five is an effective strategy to develop problem-solving strategies for our students. It is a whole school approach that can also eradicate bullying. It is a 5 step problem solving strategy that can be used in the classroom, in the playground and for perceived bullying incidents.
